​How long is a workshop/training?
  • Training Wheels Consulting (TWC) workshops range in length from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the topic.

What is the cost?
  • Fees are based on contact hours only (unless otherwise noted).  The cost is $90 per hour of the workshop.   Mileage is free unless travel is more than 30 minutes.   Payment is due on the day of the training.  Check, cash, Zelle or Venmo are accepted.   No credit cards or PayPal.

What else is provided?
  • All workshops include a PowerPoint presentation AND activities and/or videos to engage the participants. 
  • Handouts are provided to the center/school in advance to be printed for their staff. 

What happens on the day of the workshop?
  • TWC will arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start time of the workshop to set up.  (There is no charge for this time unless otherwise noted.)
  • TWC will begin at the agreed upon starting time.
  • TWC will clean up at the end of the workshop.
  • Payment will be due, as agreed upon.  

How do we hire TWC?
  • ​​Go to the Contact Us  page.  Write a message - asking for more information OR requesting a training.  I am happy to help you select a topic, if desired. 
I will need to know:

- your name and position
- your contact information

- the name and address of your center/school
- the topic(s) you are interested in
Include any questions you may have or information you wish to give me.
  I will get back with you ASAP.  


Once we have agreed upon the details for your workshop, I will send a contract for you to sign.

Who is the target audience for Training Wheels Consulting (TWC) workshops? 
  • Educators working with children birth to 5.
  • If you work with infants/toddlers, some workshops are more applicable than others.  Just ask.
  • There are some trainings that would be of value for kindergarten or primary grades.  Just ask.

Are Training Wheels Consulting  workshops research-based?
  • All workshops are aligned with the VA Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS), Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS), and Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS)
